We had a wonderful excursion into the Tierra del Fuego National Park. When Ferdinand Magellan sailed these waters in 1520, he saw fires lit by the Yaghan Indians hence the name "Land of Fire". Here we saw steamer ducks, unique geese, various types of the more than 100 species of birds and incredible scenery along the Beagle Channel.
